Work for Pacific River

Since the Security Act of 2002 Pacific River Maritime Security has been focused on Maritime compliance and safety. Our services include providing both armed and un-armed uniformed guards to riverside industries, utilizing our vessel assets to provide safety and security patrols of large projects or needs brought by the US Coast Guard and the CBP.

To work for Pacific River you must have a clean criminal record to obtain Security Certifications from either Oregon, Washington or both and to obtain a TWIC card. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long period of time. Some of our work is outdoors in inclement weather which is volatile and can rapidly change in the Pacific NW.

Veterans, Active Duty and former Police and other first responders are encouraged to apply.

Some of the duties will include traveling to Seattle for short period of time to work with our team on maritime operations in the sound, access control, foot patrols, high risk armed guards, un-armed guards, visitor badging, boat operations to include operating a vessel up to 36′ and performing deckhand duties.

Pay scales vary by job and location and experience is considered when calculating hourly pay. Some short term assignments can afford premium hourly wages from $25 up to $60 per hour. Regular permanent shift work pay range is $20+ per hour. Sick pay is accrued based on hours worked and available.
